All residents of Indian Wells have the ability to go to the City of Indian Wells and receive a free resident card. This allows any resident to play at the public courses at Indian Wells Golf Resort for a maximum of $35.00 including cart fees.

Private club: This is a newer club equipped with a beautiful spa and 36-holes of golf. The clubhouse is stunning with spectacular amenities and views. The Vintage Club
Private club: This exclusive club offers two Tom Fazio courses. There are custom home sites, condos, as well as resale homes available. The prices range on lots from $500,000 to homes at $18 million. Golf membership is $250,000. Golf dues are $32,000.annually.
La Quinta Non Golf Communities
Acacia at La Quinta is a popular non-gated family community with no HOA’s. Recent Acacia at La Quinta Home Values: $200′s to $400,000′s. Most Acacia homes were built from ’90 to ’94 and range from 1,372 to over 2,100 square feet with from 3 to 4 bedrooms.

The Madison Club

Mountain View
Private club: This is a lovely Arnold Palmer designed course with enticing mountain views. Private club: This is a smaller club with 101 homes with amazing views. The values here are between $700,000.00 and $2million. Rancho La Quinta
Private club: A beautifully landscaped golf club with over a 1,000 homes and condos. There are two courses. Golf course membership is $39,500 to $105,000. Golf dues are $1225 monthly. HOA’s are $660 to $910. These dues include social membership, fitness and tennis.
Santa Rosa Cove
Public golf: There are 328 condos, both attached and detached. These are single story both on and off the Dunes and Mountain golf course. They are an excellent investment for someone who wants to rent the units and use only part time. Recent values are from $3oo to $600. And HOA’s are $495 monthly.
Tradition Golf Club
Private club: This community has 250 homes with spectacular mountain views, adjacent to old town La Quinta and within walking distance of La Quinta Resort, and excellent hiking in the cove. Bighorn Golf Club
Private club: It is an exclusive golf community with a variety of home sites. There are two championship courses. Membership at Bighorn is limited to homeowners only. Bighorn home sales range from $1.3 million to $12 million. Golf membership is $250,000. To $350,000. The golf dues are $29,000. Annually. This is a very active club with tennis and abundant family events.
Chaparral Country Club
Private club: This club was completed in 1987, and includes 625 condos, with 21 pools and spas. It has 8 lighted Tennis Courts, and an 18-hole par-60 golf course with a full service clubhouse. Condo homes range in size from 1,520 to 2,150 square feet. The median price for homes here is $339,000. The HOA’s are $420. Monthly and the social dues are $207.00 a month.
Desert Falls Country Club
Private club: Includes 1,100 condos, town homes and single family attached homes. There is one golf course designed by Ronald Fream and has earned a 4-star rating from Golf Digest. There are 9 tennis courts, with a fitness center and 32 pools.
Indian Ridge Country Club
Private club: Featuring over 1,000 attached and detached homes in a dramatic setting. There are 36-holes of golf and numerous amenities. This is a very active club which includes a lovely spa, main pool area, active tennis and workout center with wonderful classes. Home values range from $350,000 to $2.7 million. Golf membership is from $42,500. To $70,000. With monthly dues being $1,335.
Ironwood Country Club
Private club: Ironwood was opened in 1974. The two private 18-hole courses were redesigned from ’02 to ’04, and wind through the rolling foothills. The courses were designed by Desmond Muirhead and Ted Robinson , inconsultation with Arnold Palmer. The new clubhouse opened in 2007.This club has a top tennis facility with 9 courts and two pickle ball courts. It also has a state of the art, 10,000 square foot fitness center promoting health, and relaxation. The homes are located on the foothills of the Santa Rosa Mountains with easy access to El Paseo for shopping and dining. Home values range in price from condos in the $375,000. The Lakes Country Club
Private club: The lakes was developed in 1983 and has 902 condos. They range in value from $200,000 to $700,000. The HOA’s are $771. Monthly and includes fitness and social membership.
Marrakesh Country Club

Palm Valley Country Club

Avondale Country Club
Private Club: It is a par 72 course designed by Jimmy Hines. It is known for its tree lined fairways and superb golfing conditions all year round. It is a true equity membership course and has many different levels of membership. Real estate at Avondale includes 326 attached and detached homes ranging in size from 1400 square feet to 8000 square feet. These homes are diversified since building lots were sold independently and owners built custom homes. Home values are between $1.5 million to $300,000.
Palm Desert Non Golf Communities
The Palm Desert non-golf neighborhoods are available also in both gated and non-gated communities. The Palm Desert area is divided into three areas, Palm Desert South, Palm Desert North, and Palm Desert East. The residents of Palm Desert can enjoy reduced golf rates at city-owned Desert Willow Golf Resort.
Brenna at Capri a gated community in north Palm Desert that was developed in ’04 – ’05 featuring 3 to 5-bedroom homes ranging from 2,495 to 3,444 square feet. Brenna at Capri features a community park that’s walking distance and nearby shopping. Recent HOA: $83 Monthly.
Cahuilla Hills is located just above the Bighorn Golf Club in Palm Desert. Custom lots averaging five acres and custom estate homes can offer equestrian facilities, tennis and wonderful views while still being a short drive to El Paseo Drive. Recent HOA: $155 m Located in south Palm Desert, just across from Ironwood Country Club, is the upscale-gated community of Monterra. Developed in the late 80’s, Monterra has just 95 single-family residences ranging from about 2,700 to almost 3,600 square feet. Many homes offer sweeping mountain or valley views. Regency Palms is a gated community developed in ’88 to ’89. Family friendly Freedom Park is located nearby. Recent HOA: $169 Monthly. The Silver Spur Ranch neighborhood was initially developed in the 50’s and 60’s. These Palm Springs Modern homes line old-school residential streets.
