The Palm Desert Non Golf Communities

The Palm Desert area is divided into three areas, Palm Desert South, Palm Desert North, and Palm Desert East. The residents of Palm Desert can enjoy reduced golf rates at city-owned Desert Willow Golf Resort.

Brenna at Capri a gated community in north Palm Desert that was developed in ’04 – ’05 featuring 3 to 5-bedroom homes ranging from 2,495 to 3,444 square feet. Brenna at Capri features a community park that’s walking distance and nearby shopping. Recent HOA: $83 Monthly.

Cahuilla Hills is located just above the Bighorn Golf Club in Palm Desert. Custom lots averaging five acres and custom estate homes can offer equestrian facilities, tennis and wonderful views while still being a short drive to El Paseo Drive. Older homes were developed from the 50’s to the 80’s with newer estates from ‘01 forward. Cahuilla Hills is located on County land managed by Palm Desert.

Deep Canyon Tennis Club is a gate community located between El Paseo Drive & Bighorn Country Club in south Palm Desert. Deep Canyon is a very active tennis community with 13 tennis courts, 12 pools and a small gym and basketball court. Condos at Deep Canyon make popular rental units. Developed in ’79. Recent HOA: $498 Monthly.

Montecito is a smaller gated community of semi-custom homes adjacent to Desert Willow Golf Resort where owners enjoy special rates. Homes were built from ’92 to ’06 and offer from about 2,900 to over 3,400 square feet. Recent HOA: $155 m Located in south Palm Desert, just across from Ironwood Country Club, is the upscale-gated community of Monterra. Developed in the late 80’s, Monterra has just 95 single-family residences ranging from about 2,700 to almost 3,600 square feet. Many homes offer sweeping mountain or valley views. Recent HOA: $225 Monthly.

Regency Palms is a gated community developed in ’88 to ’89. Family friendly Freedom Park is located nearby. Recent HOA: $169 Monthly. The Silver Spur Ranch neighborhood was initially developed in the 50’s and 60’s. These Palm Springs Modern homes line old-school residential streets. This non-gated community is adjacent to The Living Desert and Ironwood Park. Many homes feature extensive remodels, some homes offer very large lots with gated RV parking. Recent HOA: $75 Annually.

The Summit is a collection of custom homes located off Mesa Drive up Highway 74. Adjacent to Ironwood Country Club, thecustom homes were developed from the 80’s thru ’03. Recent HOA: $85 Monthly. Sun terrace is a gated community of 113 custom homes developed in the mid to late 90’s. Homes range from 2,500 to over 3,100 square feet. Nearby golf clubs include Palm Valley, Indian Ridge, Desert Falls and Desert Willow. Recent HOA: $119 Monthly.

Venezia a gated community of 94 single-family homes developed in north Palm Desert from ’03 to ‘05. Venezia homes range from almost 2,500 to over 3,425 square feet. Recent HOA: $138 Monthly

White hawk is a gated community of 288 homes that were built in the 90’s. White hawkhas direct access to adjacent Woodhaven Country Club Palm Desert. Floor plans range from 1,941 to 2,899 square feet on lots that average 8,000 square feet. Recent HOA: $110 Month[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
